Teacher Cadet Program

Teacher Cadet Class Overview

This program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the educational field and/or getting an inside glimpse into the world of teaching. Students will examine and research the topics of educational history, schooling options, and the certification process. Students will also study and practice teaching methodologies and strategies, lesson planning, and classroom management. Students will participate in classroom observations and assist in a variety of classrooms. Year 1 and Year 2 are available and aligned with Ferris State University classes.

C.O.O.R. Career Tech also offers an Early-Middle College option for this program to earn up to 54 transferable college credits!
